I drive thru downtown every week 2x a day and have for nearly 2 years.. I have noticed that several streets are UNUSED.. What not take one of the UNUSED streets(put a traffic counter on them) and put in a major ourdoor patio restaurant row in the middle of downtown. There aren't many regular restarants and no patio space except for Arizona Center.. which is popular. The shadier the street the better.. available parking garage or lots the better. There is nothing that resembles a normal street anywhere in downtown.. like a Gaslamp District. It's too contrived and locked away in what exists. It's not easily accessable.
