Last night, another pedestrian in a crosswalk was killed by a motorist[1]. There's no word yet on whether the driver will be charged.

A report found that drivers violate the right of way of pedestrians more often than pedestrians violate the right of way of drivers[2].

For pedestrian safety, the Phoenix police need to start being a little more proactive on ensuring pedestrian safety by ticketing motorists who violate the right of way of pedestrians in crosswalks.
