North Central Phoenix would beneift from a high-quality, extensive, child-friendly park, similar to McCormick Railroad Park in Scottsdale. There are many young families in the area with children that would love to have a destination like this, it would promote the health and well-being of families. Encanto Park does have some great facilities, but it is older, less accessible for many families, and deemed to be in a relatively unsafe area. Building onto Steele Indian School Park, for example, would be a great opportunity.
