With light rail to the region and expanding, we need a city based streetcar network to connect us to the regional system and provide better mobility within the city. The Alternatives Analysis Valley metro is conducting for Central Ave. is a start, but the City should take a more active step in developing a streetcar system plan that extends the reach of light rail and supports smarter development and redevelopment in the city.
