Phoenix has a reputation as a driving city. I think more and more people would bike to get around if there was a safer bike system. Lanes are small and drivers aren't educated on how to work WITH bikers, and so people are afraid to hop on two wheels and take to the road. We need better regulation for bikers and drivers and incentives around supporting a bike-friendly environment.
