Senior Centers are under utilized and costly. Turning these over to faith based organizations who have historically provided for the elderly and less fortunate would improve the service, improve the budget and get government out of "Providing" the public good. In this case, a very very small group to be sure. An example of this is the Rock at 32nd St. This is a faith based community center offering education, music instruction, dance instruction and a complete community center for both adults and teenagers. It is faith based being owned and operated by the Genesis Church.
