The visual character of the city looks derelict and blighted because of our outdated sign code. Scottsdale, Tempe, Glendale, Mesa and all of the cities in the valley look good and clean from the road, but as soon as you cross in to the city of phoenix: what a mess.
Monument signs only. 32 square feet maximum. 4 foot maximum height. Sunset all pole signs and outlaw billboards. Have some pride in our city and fix this problem!
