It's great that residents volunteer their time and expertise to serve on city boards and commissions. It would be helpful to other citizens who may attend and speak before these boards and commissions to know a bit more about the individuals who make recommendations and decisions affecting our daily lives and communities. It's always good to be able to connect names to faces.

Regarding Village Planning Committees, for example, all we can find on each VPC member webpage is the volunteer's name and council district. Because individuals are nominated either by themselves or others (see link to application form below), what about a link to a biographical sketch and photo of each volunteer? It would also help to know who is the chair and vice chair, and when each person's term expires.
