We need help from Leadership to Bring Back the Fun in Planning, Designing & Developing Our City. This Big Idea Excercise was Fun for me, so let's continue on these efforts.

    by Peter N1 Public participation is always the best way. Now, to move from General Planning, to Village and neighborhood planning. We think BIG well, but we miss the details. That is one way to keep in going.

    by Patrick B4 Would love to see something like this initiated on the neighborhood/village level. We sometimes get community members out to VPC meetings for specific items of interest, and then their eyes glaze over as we hash out other boring details on the agenda. Those are the semi-active community members who will never return if they can help it.

    by Ardyce E Why the blazes can't we combine this with a contest for middle and high schools? A lot of kids have insight into their local area and we aren't tapping their knowledge.

    This also applies to college student, both community colleges and Grand Canyon, for instance.
