Bad bad Jack Swilling

Did you know a man named Jack Swilling founded Phoenix? Did you know he was a bad mamma jamma? Yes, badder than LeRoy Brown.

Did you know he aided BOTH SIDES of the American Civil war? Or that he was an opium addict and alcoholic? Did you know he may (or may not have) robbed stagecoaches and shot people just 'cause he was so bad to the bone? Yah, he was freakin' cool.

So why doesn't such an interesting person in our history have a Statue ANYWHERE honoring him? Thats ridiculous! There needs to be a statue of swilling in one of the following places:

1. Civic Space Park or
2. Cesar Chavez Plaza, near historic City Hall
3. In front of the Phoenix History Museum, if its brought back.

Its ludicrous that our City founder doesn't have his own statue!
